Equalizer removed radio barely audible - no volume range 700 1987

The equalizer on my 87 760 had a bad din plug. I removed the equalizer and reconnected the radio and it's volume is barely audible when turned up. The equalizer supplied power and I can't figure how to get that power supplied to the radio minus the equalizer. How can get adequate power to the radio to deliver volume? Same radio minus the equalizer - the back of my 6141 radio had a din plug in for the equalizer that was removed.
