Brake pad confusion 700 1987

Hi folks,

Ari here (the logins are still wack). I have a question: How do you tell if you have a separate or one-piece hub/rotor? I have 5-spoke aluminum rims that give me an excellent view of the whole brake caliper/rotor assembly - I just don't know what to look for.

I'm going to replace my pads in the hopes that it will solve a 'brakes effectiveness' issue that I'm having. The brakes work, but with an inordinate amount of pressure (compared to my folks' Honda that I drove while I'm fixing my Volvo). Donno when the pads were last done... but the rotors look ok, so I'm gonna do the pads to see if it makes a difference.

Thanks!!!

Ari
