buying a 760 - what should I watch out for? 700 1990

Hello - on Saturday, I'm driving 100 miles to look at a 1990 760Turbo wagon, 100000 miles, 4cyl, supposedly one-owner.
So I thought I'd ask you good folks for tips on particular things to look at or look out for. I've found the owner's manual online, so I have a bit of a headstart on what features the car has.
And one other question - about roof racks. This car has no rack. Do all 700/760 wagons have the necessary fittings pre-installed under the roof sheet metal, or is the OEM rack just screwed into the roof panel?
