Intermittent Stalling, No Restart 120-130 1968

Except for the ignition and dizzy, the car *is* at its baseline. Swapping parts has be a one-at a time one variable procedure.

Compression was checked when I cleaned the sparks (170-160-160-165)

Carbs have been partially rebuilt - although not the $400.00 job. There are no vacuum leaks detectable, they check out fine with normal tuning procedures.
Car idles fine at 700 rpms and revs without hesitation.

The points dizzy gives me 13 mpg and require an extremely small gap to give proper dwell.

Cam lobes are fine would not cause this sort of problem. valve lash has been checked regularly.

Yet, it has been difficult to start and has started stalling in inopportune places.

If you get 30 mpg with a points dizzy, you are doing better than anyone else on the board.
