544 badging and other small differences 444-544

I seem to recall that those semi-abstract things on the sides of the 444 hood were supposed to be nightingales.

There are two kinds of "Sport" emblems---a flat plate with recessed letters painted red, and a script, but I'm not sure which came first. There were both B16 and B18 "Sport" models. I have also seen cars with "544" on the sides of the hood.

As far as I know, 3-point seat belts were standard equipment on all 544s---the first car in the world to have them as such.

The serial number should also be punched in the body somewhere, but I forget where it is on the PVs. Almost all later models have it in the right door jamb, at the front, near the hinges.
