I'd bet money that your '64 does *not* have a dana 27. I don't think any wagons did.. they went straight from Salisbury to Dana 30... somewhere mid '66 or starting in '67.

The salisbury unit is *very* similar... even the gears and carrier look interchangeable.. but they are not.

Nor are the axles. Pull an axle some day when you're not doing anything better... I think you'll find it to have 18 splines, as opposed to 10 as would be found in a Dana 27.
