I have done a search on the brickboard about a T9 converion to get 5 speeds. But there is no-one that has fessed up that they have done it.

good points to this ( according to v-performance) is that it is smaller than T5 and you don't have to do major tranny tunnel modification. and it is a good tranny as long as you don't go over about 200 hp, which I am squeeking under that limit by only about 120 hp.
reletively cheap too, even with an adapter plate. I cannot find a m41 or other such overdrive around here in oklahoma. also a cheap O/d is still a minimum of about $400-$500 for the O/D plus all of the wiring and install and such.

that is why I am asking for anyone that has done the T9 to see if it is worth it and if it would be a harder swap.
