Transmission serviced - and I can tell 700 1987

Hi folks,

I spent the morning getting my transmission serviced, and I can tell a difference. I opted to have the mechs drop the pan and take a look, since I think the transmission was running really old fluid, and may have been slipping a bit. It was pretty brown this last time I looked at the dipstick (I think some rough highway driving toasted it).

Anyway, the screen in the tranny got changed with a new one, and the mech said that there were only a few metal flakes in the pan. I watched him carefully clean everything out, and he seemed to know what he was doing.

The tranny (AW70L) now shifts REALLY smooth. Wow!

Ari
