Speedo gear for 1983 Volvo wagon AW70 tranny. Where do I find one? 200 1983

Does anyone know where to find the speedo gear for my 1983 Volvo wagon. It seems the VV dealership cannot even read their diagrams. I was hoping that some aftermarket dealer would have it. Apparently there are colors that correspond with the number of gear lugs on it and that this affects the accuracy. Good grief! They were not much help, but they tried at least. They would have to order it. Is there anyplace else? When I took it out of the tranny the old gear was stripped. It looked like a light brown or tan color. I did not count the lugs. I put it back in hoping it would not leak. Besides the dealer who sells these things. Any ideas? My daughter needs her speedometer. jg
