Weber linkage alternative? 444-544

Hi all--pluggin along--On two PV's..
one one the road missing linkage not yet..

I have Webers on both cars.. one with the Weber linkage kit and one without.
Is there an elegant or in-elegant (is that a word) solution to setting up the linkage without having to buy the kit for the missing link-age.

For the car with the correct linkage..what do I have to do to get the second barrel to open up when I stomp on the gas..

A photo or brief description would be appreciated..
and if you come down to San Clemente California and help solve one or both problems--and no you do not have to touch anything just put your valued opine in
the mix..I will treat you to the finest lunch down at the pier including cocktails.
