Thanks for the advice.

It's funny - the Volvo certainly has more trouble with bad-traction situations, but it's manageable. Usually snow shuts down most things around here, so it's not an issue.

Actually, a FWD car of any type does just fine on that incline. The 'hill,' as we call it, gets rutted by rain and traffic, and you have to take care not to catch the underpan of the car on a bump or in a hole.
