New Engine Mounts 200 1985

I flew into the engine mount issue this morning. I had purchased the Meyle mounts, and decided that the job was not going to do itself. I dreaded the Passenger upper front bolt, since I had heard so many horror stories. I am blessed with a friend with a lift, and a tripod jack that will reach the engine while the lift is raised to the full height. I tackled the passenger side first, and by using a 3/8 drive pneumatic ratchet and an extension, I was able to easily remove the aforementioned bolt. It was smooth sailing after that. The old mounts (factory original) were the consistiency of peanut butter (almost) and had lost it's shape and was offset by almost 1/2"

The driver's side was a little easier, and was accomplished without remark. In all, it took a little over an hour, and the engine now is stable, and does not jump around in the engine bay. The right tools and equipment makes maintenance a pleasure on the old girl. Thought someone might be interested in the process.
