Fluid for M47 transmission 200 1989

I just did this last week and was only able to get about 1.9 quarts of MTL into my car.

I had the driver's side of my jacked up (on flat ground) high enough that the front and rear tires were off of the ground. It'd be good to keep a 3rd quart around for topping up the case if it needs it and being sure to check it regularly.

That way 5th gear stays lubed.

I had a ton of metal shavings stuffed into both the drain and fill plug magnet areas which freaked me out.

My car was running Amsoil Super Shift for 60k miles before I took ownership, which is too long for a service interval. However, my transmission is silent, so I have my fingers crossed.

The MTL didn't help or hurt my transmission so far. I didn't notice any difference (which is a good thing, since nothing was wrong.)
