Duett---I''m Not Even Sure What I'm Asking Here

`I have a chance to buy a Duett. Runs great with a B18 engine that was put in to replace original-B16 I think. Brakes, lights, all that work great. Very road worthy. If it was hired out, there is probably $5,000 worth of body work necessary for restoration. I haven't seen the car yet, all the above was told to me by the owner. $5,500 purchase price. I know next to nothing about these, except I like the looks. Any info on these, or opinions about them would be appreciated.
