Should I Save This Wrecked 1995 960? 900 1995

Hello to all,

I am usually on the 200 Series Forum but I had a 900 Series question I though you folks could help me with. A co-worker recently wrecked a great running 1995 960 Sedan when she rear ended another car and the rest is history. She was thinking about sending the car to the scrap yard but is unsure of what to do. She recently took pictures of the car and I noticed that the damage to the vehicle does not look that extensive. Obviously being a front end collision the hood, fenders, radiator, radiator crossmember, entire headlight assemblies, turn signal assemblies and wrap around bumper need to be replaced but I wondered how hard could that be. Other than the collision the car was a great daily driver with a nice interior and exterior. Anyone out there know of where I could find some used body panels cheap (I can think of a near-by boneyard). Also is there a place I can find a way to decode the VIN of the 960 so I can see what type of engine it had since she was unable to open the engine compartment to take a picture and can not remember if it was a 4CYL or 6CYL (women). I will try to post pictures as soon as I can. Thank you to all for their time.
