Getting Desperate: All suggestions entertained. 200 1987

So, this is a new plea, follow up to the thread "Assistance still needed: UPDATE on '87: Rolling great, but still cut out and hard start 200 1987"

I have followed every suggestion dutifully and read and re-read the Bentley section on my LH 2.2 and am tearing my hair out. Thanks to everyone who has posted so far.
Where to next? The car drives too well and compression is too good for it to be in the cylinder.

The symptom is simple enough: she dies immediately after firing unless I give her the petal/gas, and a lot of it.

As summary "Throttle body clean, flame trap cleaned, hoses replaced, ACV tested, cleaned, hoses replaced, fuel filter replaced, fuel pressure and relay tested ok, fuel lines checked, no leaks, engine harness replaced, distributor cap and lines new, injectors all ok, intake manifold gasket new, no response to spraying water or carb cleaner around lines and gaskets, vacuum lines checked, few damaged, those replaced, new brake pads, ball joints, struts and mounts"
