Mystery stall, won't quite start, but thinks about it... 200 1982

So... my dear wife's '82 just stopped running the other morning. Wouldn't start...

I went for a looksee and wasn't seeing any spark. Took her to work.

My brother went by a bit later and said he was getting plenty of spark, and that it would try to start.

Next day, I go back again... and sure enough, it fired up right away, but ran for only about a second. It did hit on all four. Then it wouldn't fire.. then it fired again for about a second... Thereafter, I checked for spark again and nothin'.

Fuel pump definitely working (thought I haven't checked fuel pressure)... but it seems to be an intermittent ignition issue.

It's got that Chrysler ignition. It's got voltage at the coil when ignition is on... so, I'm thinking bad coil, or electronic ignition module maybe...? Any other thoughts?

I have access to a donor car that is an exact match.. K-jet, ignition, all... but I don't know which parts I should grab (or where to find them, as I'm not really familiar with these modern cars) next time I head down to the broken car...

Any insights greatly appreciated. Thanks!
