AMM identification please

I bought a AMM off of Ebay that was supposed to be a used #016 unit for my Volvo 240. The seller and I had a bit of a problem getting ahold of each other, and we resolved that. As a way to make up for the issue, they sent me a note saying that they shipped me a remanned unit they had there. The only problem is that this unit will not fit my car. It has a flange on the leading connection point for the intake tube. It adds about one quarter inch to the diameter that would not be there otherwise. The flanged bit is not a sleeve, but an integral part of the meter, part of the plastic body. Any ideas what this scamp is off of? The stock unit is on the left in both pictures:
