Some dude in a Honda rearend my 86 240 DL wagon as I was attempting to get on the westbound Long Island Expressway (LIE) at Springfield Blvd. in Queens, NY. It was a hit and run, but the idiot left his front license plate deposited under my rear bumper. It was like just out of GTA IV except I didn't get shot at. Had to go to the hospital for back and neck injury. Fortunately the FDNY EMS allowed me to pull the Volvo off the Expressway at Oceania Street in Bayside, NY otherwise the cops would've had to have it towed and that would've meant I would never get it back as the authorized tow guys know that car is worth more in parts to them than any payment I might get from the offending driver's insurance company should I ever determine who he/she was.
So now I've got a crease on both sides of the wheel openings on the car and while it did come off the road there was a rubber burn smell meaning that the frame is probably pinched. Does anyone know of a realiable body shop that would be willing to pull the chassis straight with a visualiner or simliar device, in the New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania/Connecticut area that would do the job?
