If you really want to make it simple job, pull off the entire front body as a single piece, 5 or 6 bolts either side on the mudguards and 2 at the front,and bumper bolts, if everything is in good cond it would only take an hour or two, pulling the engine becomes really simple with no special equipment and you have no chance of damaging the body work.
