tires for my 945 wagon 900

My 945 (Ingrid) is a non turbo family driver - usually my wifes commuter car. I put Michelin 195x60xR15 tires on it and they have been very good. The time has come to replace them and I realized the factory recommendation is for 195x65 not 60 series tires. What difference will this make going to the slightly taller tire? The current selection at the wholesale ware house has better treadwear in the taller tires but of course the 60 series tires are 20 bux cheaper. Will the taller tires give a better ride or better gas mileage?
