'90 Turbo Running Rough and rich after manifold removal/reinstall 700

I took the intake manifold off to get at the rear heater hoses on my '90 turbo wagon. The neg battery cable was disconnected during this time. Fuel lines were disconnected. Everything is back in place but I drove the car about 20 miles or so after this work (multiple starts during this time), and the car is running very rich - thick black smoke on acceleration, can smell the fumes very well. When idling, it is rough and light puffs of black smoke coming out.

It was not doing this before. Any thoughts?

Thanks,
Phil
