EGR Code 241 200 1991

David,

You may have solve your problem by now but if not my tangentially similiar experience may be of some help. I had a similiar problem on a 95 940 EGR Volvo. The check engine light would come on and the ECU code pointed to the EGR/Temp Sender. The problem turned out to be a dirty connection at the temp. sender unit (not an easy thing to access, under intake manifold port #3). The test for the vacuum solenoid test was a different set of button pressings on the same unit in the engine compartment. You will have to check the Bently manual for the proper sequence.
