240 automatic dies intermittently ( ignition, coil, fuel) 200 1988

Over the last 4 months my car has died while driving about 3 to 4 times, with up to a month between times this has happened. Once I come to a stop, put it in neutral or park, I can restart the ignition and drive. It hasn't happened enough for me to remember if all electrical goes out when this happens. Rather than guessing in this message - and I have my theories - I'm just going to ask for feedback.

[Don't know that it would be related, but I do have one noticeable electrical issue where the fan blows when in the off position, and then when turned to '1' it stops blowing. And sometimes this reverses itself.]

Thanks for your feedback!
