High speed Stall and spongy break pedal??? 1991 240 200 1991

So im driving at 60 MPH i feel the car lose power i pull over, pop the hood, wiggle stuff "the crank position sensor i think its called" then it cranked back up, but the break was spongy went to the floor, but still had break power.....i was close to home and i made it, and the next day the break feels fine.
noticed at highway speed if i give it a lot of gas i can feel a up down up down in the engine, like its missing gas???
Any ideas?
