K-jet parts reserve 200

As much as I appreciate my '82 K-jet car, I'm a little concerned about parts for it becoming more and more scarce. Once and a while I come across a K-jet car in the boneyard. I don't want to stock-up on parts I don't need yet, but at the same time rising scrap prices are sending boneyard cars to be crushed and shipped to China and elsewhere more quickly now. Any opinions about whether it's a good idea to rescue some K-jet fuel injection parts from the boneyard? Are there other sources? Are used parts likely to survive on the shelf a while?

Thanks for any and all opinions in advance!
