'93 240 wagon for son's first car 200 1993

I spent about 6 months looking nationwide for a 1993 240 5-speed wagon, but I was even more particular: It had to have cruise control and a luggage rack. I found one in New Hampshire with about 210,000 miles on it and drove it back to Denver.

I have two 1993 5-speed Classic sedans (the rarest of the rare save for the Classic wagons), and wanted to add a wagon to my stable. I had my Volvo guy fix everything that was wrong with it, and it has been going strong for the last four years as a daily driver for my sister-in-law back east who has a 40-mile commute (that's another story). They have spent $1800 in two years on repairs...not bad as compared to a car payment.

As a place to start pricewise, a 1993 240 5-speed with 182K miles just (May 22) sold on Ebay for $3,550.00...a NJ car sold by Pellmotors (almost certainly a dealer).

By the way, I wouldn't buy anything but a 1993 240, but that's just me.
