Just bought a 244 ('87, 5 SP, 107K, 1 owner, $1450!!) - Where to start? 200

Taking delivery of my new (new to me) brick today!!

I got a phenomenal deal on a phenomenal car and the gentleman selling could not be a more honest guy. Single owner, no salt!!, 107K, 5 Speed, interior is in great shape, signed sealed and delivered for $1450.

Now...where to start? I am going to do a pre-purchase inspection to get the age of timing belt; gasket health; pressure testing; etc. but I want to know where everyone would suggest to start. I bought the car for 2 reasons, commuting and playing with a 244.

I figure the R143a conversion is going to happen soon (is the '92 compressor compatible with the '87's? If not; i will get a whole new system but would rather be able to buy the compressor on ebay); Something MUST be done about the headlights, but after that I am pretty lost.

As a noob on the board I promise to exhaust the search function for the standard questions!!

Suggestions?
