Carbs 140-160 1970

New toy! '70 142, great body, no rust..engine appears to be rebuilt, runs well, no smoke, no sputter.

Has twin Strombergs which don't work, replaced diaphragms, won't idle below 1200 RPM, idle jet screws have no effect.

Want to get to ideal as expoused everywhere, aluminum intake with cast iron exhaust someday..but what's my interim solution for purchasing a new/rebuilt set of carbs? So it can run for right now...

How do you fit 3 bolt SU's on a four bolt CI Intake manifold? Or three bolt Mikuni's...is there an adapter piece?
