Turbo Head Gasket Longevity 700

We have a 1990 745 Turbo Wagon that now has 260,000 miles on it. The head gasket is original. Should I be worried about it blowing soon? As far as I know the car has never overheated in the 11 years we've owned it. I have been fasitidious about changing coolant pumps and radiators as soon as leaks are discovered. The entire cooling system has been replaced except for the heater core. Many parts like the cheaply designed pump have been changed three times or more. Coolant has been changed at the most every other year and no, I don't use Dexcool. Any comments on what will decrease head gasket longevity? Any thoughts on how long to expect a head gasket to last?
