replacing blower motor - tested - no function pos. 1 & 2?? 200 1990

I'm using the dashboard removal method to get at the blower and doing complete R&R of Dashboard, Blower, Heat Adjuster Valve, Stereo, and maybe the cruise control (which I think is in there somewhere).

so I got down to the blower and put the new one in, new resistor, new switch turned it on and I only got blower function in positions 3 & 4?

nothing on 1 & 2, I'm gonna check to see if those positions are getting power after the switch, and I might try putting the old resistor back in...

but I thought I'd check here to see if anyone had any thoughts on what might be going on...

thanks!

jack
