Changing all fluids - need some advice 200 1987

Howdy all-

I am waiting on my Bently book from half.com but want to start digging in on my new brick this weekend. I am planning on replacing anything and everything that flows in the car and want to make sure I am using the products that everyone has had decent success with. Here is my shopping list so far:

1. Oil – Valvoline Max Life 10W-40 (How many qts will I need?)
2. Oil Filter – Fram
3. Air Filter – Not the cheapest, but not K&N
4. Manual transmission fluid – ATF Type 2 for 500 miles, then Redline MTL
5. Coolant – Distilled H20 and some decent coolant
6. Brake Fluid - No idea
7. A/C refrigerant - My system has zero pressure so i was going to ty a R12 substitute to get me through the next couple weeks. I want to convert to R134a at some point, but don't think I will have the time this weekend to do the entire thing.

I am also doing brake pads and planned on having a shop turn the rotors for me on Saturday. They look to be pretty worn so I will replace if necessary.

Anything else I should be doing to get the 240 into safe/new life condition?

Thanks guys.
