Odometer gear, water reservoir and power door lock repairs 200 1987

Problem No. 1

I recently replaced both the gear and pod of my 1987 240 gl, both gears have diintegrated already due to wear and tear. Installation was done carefully, making sure the needle is centered on the pod upon assembly. It still does not work. Any advice will be very much appreciated.

Problem No. 2

My 240 came with OE headlight washers (Euro version). My concern is, even without using the washers, water still drips out of the headlight washers but not on the windshield washers (probably due to its height).

I installed a separate motor pump for the headlight washers (for more pressure)a couple of months back without any problem. As an experiment, I tried relocating to a higher location the "T" fitting connecting the 2 headlight washer tubings, still no good, water still comes out of the washers.

Problem No. 3

I also installed an OE power door locks (including the trunk lid) on my 240 that is wired to an alarm system (Clifford). When the engine is turned off, all 4 doors unlock including the trunk lid. This is were the problem comes in, when using the keyless remote to disarm the alarm and unlock the doors, the front and rear right side doors stil remain locked. Why is it that if the central lock is triggered by turning off the ignition, all is well and when using the remote, the right side doors malfunctions?
