Retrofitting A/C Questions. 200 1990



I would get the official Volvo branded retrofit kit... and not a cheap scantech or aftermarket one. I'd also consider replacing all of the seals if your A/C has been out of commission for a while.

Here's the rub: 1991 was the first year for a better evaporator, which means that if you want good cooling with a poorer evaporator, with a poorer refrigerant (r134), you may want to consider replacing the evaporator.
