No Start Problem 700

-> One time in ten all the lights on the dash come on <-

I recently had a ignition switch problem (89 745T) where I'd be driving along and all the accessories would just go out. Jiggle the key and they come back on. It was not too hard to change after taking the knee bolster out (I have an 86 donating parts in the driveway).

Try moving the key about. If you get things on/off then I would guess ignition switch, which is not the whole key/lock assembly, just the plug-in electrical connector at the back.

Good Luck!
