mirror adhesive

There will probably be a better reply, as I am sure my idea is not the norm ..but, I would use JB weld.

More than likely I would use something in the center - such as an adhesive (from Advance?) that would not harm the backing, but do the edges with JB Weld to make sure it was secure.

I have seen JBW hold stuff secure where nothing else would, and I would hate to lose the glass going down the road.

As I said, I am sure that there is a better answer coming. Just wanted to see how close I might get to a solution.
