b16 gasket questions 444-544

Greetings.
How much do I torque down on the cork gaskets? ie oil pan, timing cover, covers to the push rods........ And do I just put them on dry between clean engine metal and cover? Are there any tricks or advice to making sure these suckers don't leak oil, or at least as little as possible?
Two more questions---Oil pan washers----do you use just the locking washers, or also put a flat larger washer under the locking washer to spread out the force a little more on the seal.
Rocker cover gasket----Does that just go on dry and hope for the best?
Thanks in advance.
