Left brake light doesn't work 200 1983

I'm at a loss. My left brake light stopped working. It's not the bulb as I moved the bulb to the right side and it worked fine. The rest of the lights on the left rear cluster are working fine (turn signal, backing light, tail light), so I don't think it's a fuse. I bent the connectors on the bulb housing so there seems to be good contacts with the copper circuit sheet.

I don't know what it's called, but the faulty light indicator used to go on when I turned on the lights although I could never find a burnt out lamp or bulb anywhere. Now that indicator light comes on whenever I hit the brakes as it should.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.
