gas mileage fully loaded 200 1993

Just did a 1000 km (600 mile) trip fully loaded and pulling a trailer through hilly terrain with my 93 wagon with AW70 transmission. I only used OD on long flat sections, average speed was probably around 90 km/h (55 miles/hr) although there was a run of about 140 km where speed averaged 115 km/hr (~70 miles per hour). Anyway, the car ran great and I ended up getting almost exactly the same mileage as I normally get empty and not pulling a trailer - 10 L/ 100 km = 24 miles / US gallon - go figure.
