Two different cars. The first photo was my 68 Sedan and the second is my 67 wagon. The wagon is... under "restoration"
I went with the 1800E setup on the wagon because I had that master cylinder and booster already. I paid about $100 for the booster stand and the two custom welded end brackets. This was about the time I began to disassemble the wagon for new glass seals and then my attempt at the $50.00 paint job and the 1800E wheel upgrade. I have not really tried the 1800 booster out yet since the engine, etc is out. It worked great in the 1800E so I do not expect any change.
The 140 setup that I put in the sedan was a more economical setup with more readily available parts. $50.00 shipped and $40.00 for the custom firewall bracket. Plus it looks just like the 69-70 Amazons so it could almost pass for a stock setup. It performs very well and I'll probably give the same treatment to my Wagon when I finally put it back together.
For a while there several people had listed 140 booster/MCs on eBay.
I picked up a spare booster unit for $45.00, shipped. That's really quite a steal given the price of these things new.
I've not seen any lately, but there are a couple "suspects" to contact if one is looking for this sort of setup.
