940 a/c compressor

Blame me for that, his deal is custom ac for hot rods and custom ac installations. I just happened to figure out a couple of years ago that he had just what we needed for our volvos in his stock and started buying a bunch of compressors from him and sending folks his way.:-) He really is a great guy . If you have the straight up fittings on your compressor, the ones that hes has marked volvo compresor, are a direct fit, no fuss, if you have the v shaped fittings where the hoses go you have a 508 ( except on later 960s which came with the 709 )
Any car that has the 508 , the 709 is a much better choice, and personally, I put the 709 in everything, it's a bit of fun on some of them , but I've managed to get the factory hoses to fit every time, even on all the models that originally came with compressors with straight up fitings ( diesel kiki ) on the 240 you have to move the amm bracket a little on the fender, and on a 740 16v it's just plain fun, but doable. Usually have to move he frame clamps.
If you ever need new hoses, send him your old ones and he'll put new rubber on them for a fraction of the price of a new one and if you need a custom bend end he can make those up seriously cheap.
