Interesting Electrical Problem 200

Over the weekend I performed a headlight swap on my 87 240 using DJ auto lamps to replace my fogged out plastic junk. The swap went well, although the quality and fit of the new units are a bit on the shoddy side, they are better than what was going on before. My problem is that when I fire up the right turn signal with the headlights on, it flashes really fast. When I turn them off, it flashes normally. The left signal works fine all of the time. I checked the grounds and the wiring and all seems to be fine. Any help would be great! Thanks.
