e-brake broke at cable crimp - recrimpable?

So, I was dropping off my brother at UC Santa Cruz today and parked on a hill and zzzt-CRUNCH. Broke my e-brake cable at the lever. I took it apart and found that the cable was intact up to the crimp.
Could I find a new crimp? the rest of the cable is fine. :o gonna be mad if I have to buy a new 40$ cable to fix a crimp.

This is a photo of the crimp. Looks like it would be tough to do without a special tool.
