V90: Radio lights out S90-V90

The car is a '98 V90 with the premium sound system. When we bought it a couple years ago, only about half the little lights on the radio panel worked. Now, none of them do. Kinda frustrating when driving at night.

I'm not sure how to remove this radio, and even if I can, is it possible to repair or replace the internal lights without screwing everything up?
