a/c clutch coil,,,replacing in situ possible ...??? 200

Hi All,

Well my new compressor clutch coil should be delivered by UPS today and I am anxious to get it installed before it hits 100 deg again [which may be Wed....uggh]

Anyway, I have been reading up on how to swap out the coil, and avery article I saw started with "remove compressor from vehicle".... well, I'd like to avoid that if possible, [largely because I didn't have the foresight to order new accessory mounting bushings]....

So, I am wondering about the possibility of an in situ R&R of the clutch coil....Am I crazy?... Should I just wait until the new mounting bushings get here and pull the compressor?...

TIA
John
