power seat problem 700

The switch physically broke...a couple of small springs and 2 tiny ball-bearings were left in the wake of the switch popping off. I talked to a "Volvo expert" and told him I was thinking of taking the passenger side switch apart and transferring the workings to the driver's side and was told that I'd have 2 non-working switched if I tried that.

I've found replacements at between $250 and $330...when I have that much to spend on the car it will going in to the front end (or the gas tank)...not the seats. THe switches for newer Volvos can be had for $20 or less....go figure
