Brake Failure....out of nowhere 200 1987

Went out this morning to run some errands...probably drove 25-30 miles, not a single issue. I got home, parked the car in my driveway. About 7hrs later I went to leave, and the brake failure light came and stayed on, and I had extremely little resistance from the brake pedal. So I popped the hood, and low and behold the brake fluid level was just below the Min line. So I grabbed some fluid out of mmy trunk, filled it up, and still no dice. It's too late to mess with it now, but if anyone has any ideas, they would be much appreciated, as I've never had any brake issues before.
