Front wheel bearings 700 1992

Hey all,

I hope this is not a stupid question, but do the wheel bearings on the front of the '88-'92 700 series cars require repacking, or are they sealed? I was looking at the Haynes manual and it shows the taper style bearings on the pre '88 cars that were not retrofitted with the 2 piece hub and rotor assembly. It does not seem to describe the newer 2 piece style very well. My '92 needs a complete brake job and if the wheel bearings need to be repacked, I want to do it now. Also, do the rear wheel bearings get treated the same way? Or are those lubed from the axle oil? The car has about 122k miles. Thanks.

Regards, 'Uncle Olaf'
