Good Morning Folks;
After mortally wounding our '88 240 5 speed wagon by hitting a pile of steel scrap that had fallen on the highway at night, we have found a nice rust free replacment car in NC. A lovely 2 owner '88 wagon, ran perfectly the 900 miles home, but it is an automatic. As we have the complete 5 speed car for parts what tricks or tips can the assembled Volvo brain trust offer? We have already swapped in the pedal set but cannot find any reference or balance marks on the flywheel. Any advice? The new car also has factory Volvo cruise, will it give us any grief with the manual transmission?
