Head gaskets? 140-160

I have just taken the head off my 1970 142's B20 engine. The head has double valve springs and appears to have been worked on at some stage in the past. The inlet valves are 36mm and the exhaust 44mm.
The thing I want to know is about the head gasket which apprears to be very thin and even though it has the usual coating on it appears to be metal in the middle (which may be usual?). There is a number on the block side, at the front of the engine, of the gasket which is 6 624.
I have a replacement Elring gasket which is 0.91/0.85mm - I assume this will be OK but if the one described above is different or special please advise. Thanks.
